The Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF) is a university-level institute in NUS, jointly founded by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the National Research Foundation (NRF) and NUS. AIDF aspires to be a thought leader, a Fintech knowledge hub, and an experimental site for developing digital financial technologies as well as for nurturing current and future Fintech researchers and practitioners in Asia.

We invite applications for the position of Research Fellow who will be housed in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC) under Principle Investigator, Professor He Bingsheng for research grant ref: NRF/UP#3, titled: “Real-time fraud management based on graph analytics and learning.”

We are strongly committed to research excellence in all its dimensions: Searching for fundamental results and insights, developing novel computational solutions to a wide range of applications, building large-scale experimental systems and improving the wellbeing of society. We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Systems.

Qualifications

The Research Fellow will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator and lab members on one or more research projects under the NRF grant. He/she should possess experience or interest in at least one of the following research areas:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Computational Biology
• Database
• Media
• Programming Languages & Software Engineering
• Security
• Systems and Networking
• Research and Development of Graph Processing in Financial Applications

Job requirements:

• PhD degree in a relevant area;
• Experience in research with track record publications in top journals/conferences
