The School of Management and Economics (SME) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) is seeking applicants for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at all levels: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor.

This year we will have multiple openings for the position of Assistant Professor. Candidates with backgrounds in all areas of finance are invited to apply. The starting date of the positions is flexible and can be as early as July 2023.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed around the American Finance Association Annual Meeting (January to February, 2023).

Job Qualifications:

Junior applicants should have (i) a PhD degree (when reporting for duty) in Finance or related areas; and (ii) high potential in teaching and research.

Candidates for Associate and Full Professor posts are expected to have demonstrated academic leadership. Appointment with tenure can be offered to candidates with outstanding research and teaching records.

Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable to the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The appointment is based in Shenzhen, PRC.
