About The Position:

The Administration Assistant, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administration support for WIL initiatives and activities, including internships, placements and work-based learning and associated events and services across media, communication and design disciplines. The role includes database management activities and active engagement with organisations and students.

The position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of WIL, has a strong customer service orientation and is expected to actively participate in service improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality administration services in a customer focused environment, preferably in a large and complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills, including a proven ability to meet tight timelines, manage multiple tasks and readjust workload priorities to meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Highly developed customer relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to correctly interpret policies and procedures, provide accurate advice and communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and work cooperatively within a team setting.
  • Proven ability to contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and database skills.
