Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Research Fellow in the field of electromagnetic scattering and antenna.

  • Expected to develop computational electromagnetic algorithms to calculate Radar cross-section (RCS) for electromagnetic wave.
  • Expected to design antenna decoupling methodologies that reduce mutual couple for both intra- frequency and inter-frequency scenarios.
  • Expected to integrate insights of wave physics with deep machine learning algorithms.
  • Expected to interpret multipath effect in antenna arrays, from the viewpoint of wave physics.
  • Expected to design cloaking surfaces for to reduce the scattering by passive targets near antenna. 


  • Possess a Doctor’s Degree in electrical engineering, or equally having passed PhD thesis defence, with a specialization in electromagnetics.
  • Experienced in numerical methods of electromagnetic scattering theory, such as method of moment (MoM).
  • Experienced in antenna design and decoupling.
  • Possess knowledge of electromagnetic theory, such as Dyadic Green’s function and angular spectrum representation, which are essential in interpreting the multipath effect in antenna decoupling.
  • Experienced in algorithms of machine learning.
  • Has good technical proposal writing and presentation skills.
  • Able to do research in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Open to fixed-term contract
