We have a strong national and international reputation for providing community-engaged inter-professional training for medical, nursing, and allied health students. This includes the Doctor of Medicine Rural Stream (MDRS) program and multidisciplinary rural clinical placements. Through this practice, we bring new and exciting opportunities to actively engage and work with rural communities.

About the Role

The Program Administrator will be responsible for the administration and student focused support of rural based curriculum, student teaching and learning activities as part of the Department of Health, Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT). The role is responsible for providing high-level support to students and relationship building with rural clinics, hospitals and health facilities which provide student supervision.  The incumbent will also be responsible for the coordination of community engagement activities and supporting the Student Rural Health Society Club. The role is also responsible for working in collaboration with the Program Manager on a variety of projects in conjunction with both internal and external stakeholders to improve the students experience and promote a health workforce for our rural communities.

The role can be based at either Bedford Park or at one of the RRHSA rural campus across the South Australian footprint. Participation in a range of out of hours activities and student support will be required. Supervision of at least one (1) support staff member may be required.
