The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning is the leading educational and research institution in the Asia-Pacific region addressing the design and realisation of inhabited environments. It actively seeks to extend the linkages between education, research and practice in the built environment, and maintains excellent and extensive relationships with members of the built environment professions, government, professional associations and the wider community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise to support the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will be responsible for running and managing tutorials and engaging with students about assigned readings and lecture material.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the alignment of course materials
  • Review student assessments
  • Managing and facilitating online learning, supporting student needs and engagement

About You

You will have a solid understanding of the subject matter, and a good working knowledge of online and face-to-face learning. As a confident and skilled communicator, you understand how to build relationships with student and colleagues.

You will also have:

  • Qualification and previous teaching experience
  • Ability to facilitate and direct tutorial discussion
  • Demonstrated ability to provide user-friendly, responsive student service
  • High-level organisational skills
