St Andrew’s College is one of six university residential colleges located within the University of Sydney. For over 150 years, St Andrew’s College has been developing leaders who contribute to local communities, Australia at a national level, and influence the world at large. Living in College provides students with opportunities to discover and develop their strengths, learn from peers and mentors and be broadened by enrichment programs of many sorts.

In recent times, St Andrew’s has increased its student community and wellbeing support. The aim is to sustain student autonomy while providing a scaffolding of support, ensuring the College is safe, healthy and inclusive.

St Andrew’s is currently seeking to fill the position of Director of Student Life, an outstanding opportunity to join the College community and make a significant difference to the lives of students. Key to the role will be the design and delivery of a diverse collection of programs to enhance students’ experience.  The Director of Student Life will report to the Principal and form part of the executive leadership team of the College, leading a team including the Student Life Manager, Student Life Officer, Dean of Student Wellbeing, Director of Performing Arts and Director of Sport.

The Director of Student Life will live on campus in accommodation appropriate to their family status.

An executive search is being undertaken by Odgers Berndtson in parallel with the public advertisement of the position.
