Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Working within a small team of professionals, this role provides cybersecurity management, auditing advice and governance across the University to ensure best practice is applied.
Lead change activities across the University by providing advice and business solutions, providing input into the design and specification of IT systems, whilst managing processes that include Vulnerability management, network detection, endpoint detection, email security, Micro segmentation, firewall rules and server workload.
This role will suit someone with a min of 5 years’ experience, who shows an eagerness to learn, possess a methodical approach to problem solving and are approachable, diligent, proactive and a trouble shooter at heart.
With a stakeholder focus, you will work across the university with your collaborative approach and work autonomously with areas to design solutions that may not be a one size fits all approach.
To be successful in this opportunity you will need to demonstrate your experience with cybersecurity audits & reviews, experience with frameworks and your knowledge of maturity models.
