THE POST – Administrative Assistant
The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) London Campus is currently seeking a customer focused administrator who will work as part of our expanding Administrative Team.  We have a diverse student body at London campus with over 3000 students from over 50 different nationalities. The successful candidate will have a vital role in supporting our students through all aspects of their student journey from induction through to completion of their studies, supporting students with their engagement and ensuring compliance with Home Office regulations. The post holder will be the first point of call for our student enquiries and will also work closely with other departments across the University.

The successful candidate will ensure a high level of quality systems and processes are implemented to enhance the student experience and ensure an easy transition to the University. 

The successful candidate should have:  

  • Relevant administrative experience 
  • Excellent customer services
  • Goods levels of attention to detail 
  • Experience in working in fast paced environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and use initiative.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel, email and internet use

You will enjoy working as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload. With drive, enthusiasm and tenacity you will be accustomed to operating within a busy environment.
