We welcome applications from passionate, and committed candidates with a strong desire to drive the development and delivery of high-quality teaching at postgraduate level within Environmental Science and Sustainability, as well as being actively involved the development of a research program in the Assessment of Environmental Sustainability remit.
About the Role
The role will focus on the support of promotion, development, management and delivery of the Environment and Agrifood MSc courses, particularly around the delivery of high-quality teaching in Environmental Sustainability and the methods used for its assessment such as LCA. The role will support and help lead our active and growing teaching programme across four MSc courses, a new Apprenticeships Sustainability Mastership and in supporting the development of Data Science teaching delivery at MK:U. In parallel, the role is also expected to contribute and help develop our active research program in assessment methods of Environmental Sustainability. The role will benefit and build from our research activities around environmental sustainability, resilience and in developing solutions to current environmental challenges.
You will be educated to doctoral level in Environmental science or Agrifood with a focus in methods for the assessment of sustainability (e.g. LCA) and have experience of the design, planning delivery and management of undergraduate/post graduate teaching. Experience in managing research in sustainability assessment with an associated track record in publications would be desirable.
