We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate for the following position:

Be part of our mission to deliver the highest quality research-led education in biomedical sciences. You will join our School of Biological Sciences that delivers degree programmes in Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, Biology and Zoology. You will work with us to develop, teach and provide leadership for our education. We particularly welcome applications from those who can help develop our education in pharmacology including our new MSci Pharmacology and Drug Discovery.  We pride ourselves on the quality of our education (in the top 3 of the Russell Group for student satisfaction for the last 3 years). This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in biological sciences education at a Russell Group University where our ethos is that research and education are highly integrated. You will be appointed as a permanent member of staff and develop an exciting undergraduate student experience including lectures, tutorials, laboratory practicals and research projects. 

Strong applicants should demonstrate:

  • a doctorate and postdoctoral experience in a relevant discipline
  • ability as a highly effective communicator  
  • evidence of effective team working 
  • ability for excellence in delivering undergraduate education
  • enthusiasm for innovation in education and for enhancing the student experience
