Applications are invited for appointment as Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 517258), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related discipline, with strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills (both written and oral English), good interpersonal skills, and ability to work as an effective member of a team. Those with knowledge in mental health research in the old age and/or youth, experience in advanced statistics, and/or strong track record of publications will be an advantage.
The appointee will be working closely with multidisciplinary scholars and a research team on old age and youth mental wellbeing, and will be responsible for data management and analysis, preparation of research reports and high-quality manuscripts, development of proposals and research design, presentation of research findings at local and international conferences, supervision of junior research staff in academic activities, and other duties as assigned by the Principle Investigator.
