Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Photonics in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 517075), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics.  Those with experience in topological photonics and metamaterials are welcome to apply. The appointees will work with Professor Shuang Zhang to pursue research in topological metamaterials and terahertz photonics.  Professor Zhang’s research interests cover a wide range of topics in photonics, including but not limited to, topological metamaterials, metasurfaces, non-linear optics etc.  The current publications of Professor Zhang’s group can be found at: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=sepjZ3sAAAAJ&hl=en   

A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
