Faculty of History and the Arts invites applications for a
Full Professorship (W3)
of Contemporary History
(Chair)
commencing on 1 October 2023.
In research and teaching, the chairholder is expected to be a specialist of contemporary history. We expect a focus on German history, especially the history of Nazism, along with another thematic field of non-German history.
Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
