Job Description

A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the Department of Chemistry at the National University of Singapore. The project will involve the synthesis of luminescent compounds and fluorophores for applications in optoelectronic devices, such as in advanced color displays, photovoltaic, photosensor or wearable devices.

Qualifications

The candidate for the research fellow position should have a PhD in relevant scientific/engineering disciplines with demonstrated publication track record. All candidates should have keen interest functional materials research. Candidates should have prior experience in organic synthesis, especially in aromatic compounds or polymers. Candidates should preferably have a good theoretical understanding of semiconductors, optical materials and spectroscopy.
