The basic hours are 35 hours per week but there is regular overtime available of 7 hours per week. Total on Target Earnings (OTE) £33,683.84 to £40,084.84 per annum

The role

The Security Systems Technician will play a vital part in supporting our endeavours by carrying out the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance on security and access systems, to keep our estate running safely.

About You

You will bring technical experience of security systems, you will be computer literate and have the drive to visit various locations across our large campus’ sometimes at short notice to solve a variety of technical issues, you may come from an IT background but have the desire to get out and about or you may have worked in alarm security. We need someone who will be able to check and fix a fuse in a door using an IP Based system to reboot, you may have to climb a ladder and get your hands dirty but above all have the motivation to complete a task while applying your knowledge of health and safety and risk assessment. You will be a strong team player, but also be self-sufficient and able to work independently. A full driving license is essential to travel to other local sites.
