About the role

The Student Hub are seeking a passionate and motivated Student Hub Coordinator. These roles are offered on a full – time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for providing advice, information and guidance to University of Southampton students and customers on a wide array of subjects including student fees and funding, accommodation, graduation, careers events, wellbeing and academic progression.

The role requires the successful candidate to have the flexibility to work across a 24/7 shift pattern, initially on a rotation between 08.00 – 20.00 including some weekend working across various campuses including Winchester. 

About you

The successful candidate will bring a knowledge of higher education, student support and issues effecting students from a wide range of backgrounds is desirable. 

We are looking for an individual with exceptional organisational skills, with an eye for detail, able to prioritise well and manage often multiple tasks and deadlines. A successful Student Hub Coordinator will possess excellent customer service and time management skills, as well as a competency in Office 365 and an aptitude for learning service specific software and internal systems. 

The role involves interaction with our students and the successful candidates must be good communicator, both written and verbal and confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and building relationships.
