The research team of Magistri Iohannis Hus Opera omnia (hus.phil.muni.cz) is looking for a research fellow to join their project GAČR EXPRO 20–08389X „Observance Reconsidered: Uses and Abuses of the Reform (Individuals, Institutions, Society)“.
Requirements:
- PhD or MA degree in Medieval Latin or related disciplines
- knowledge of medieval Latin, Latin palaeography and basics of editing techniques
- proficiency in academic English
- independence in solving assigned tasks and problems, good team communication skills and flexibility
- ability to carry out independent research and to publish academic outcomes
Expected tasks:
- transcription of medieval Latin manuscripts
- participation in preparing critical editions of Hussite and anti-Hussite Latin material
- participation in national/international research activities and conferences
- participation in the common research activities of the team related to the Czech Reformation of the 15th century
- possible engagement in pedagogical activities related to the project topic
