Applications are invited for the part-time post of Senior Teaching Fellow BM5 Year 3 Primary Medical Care (PMC) Module Lead, to join the Medical Education Unit in the Faculty of Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and delivery of PMC teaching and learning experience for students on the BM5 programme.

As the post holder, you will also contribute to help the development and delivery of the PMC subject teaching across the Batchelor of Medicine programmes and will help students meet the General Medical Council’s learning outcomes relating to PMC as in “Outcomes for Graduates 2018”. You will work with a range of staff with different backgrounds and promote the shared vision for PMC. You will be responsible for recruitment, placement, teaching and training GP teachers to support the delivery of PMC in the BM5 cohort. You will enable students to develop skills and competencies needed for consulting patients safely and enhance the student learning experience. 

We welcome all healthcare professional backgrounds to consider this role who are currently working in Primary Care with equivalent qualifications.

This position is being offered on a part time permanent basis.
