The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) invites applications for an Instructional Faculty opening in Physical Chemistry. The Instructional Faculty  will develop the KAUST Physical Chemistry experimental teaching lab, integrated with theoretical courses in Chemistry and Physics, in collaboration with other colleagues.

Instructional faculty are expected to teach courses, possibly with multiple offerings of the same course per year. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Instructional Faculty will have professional and administrative responsibilities such as mentoring students, designing courses, proctoring placement, and admissions tests, qualifying exams, sitting on divisional committees, or any combination of the foregoing.

Qualifications

Applicants for the position must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Ideal candidates will have a track record of excellence in teaching and student mentorship at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
