Description

Assistant Professor, Ahmed Almheiri, of the Division of Science (Physics) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and visitor at New York University New York (NYUNY), seeks to recruit a postdoctoral associate to work in the field of theoretical physics, specifically on topics related to quantum gravity, string theory, and black holes.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics or related field. Applicants should have a strong track record of original research in the relevant topics.

This is a 3-year position starting no later than September 2023. The successful candidate will spend the 2023-2024 academic year in the New York campus, after which they will spend 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years in the Abu Dhabi campus.
