Job Description

The Foundations of Education Department (FOED), College of Education (CEDU), at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. Qualified candidates should have a PhD degree and experience in educational leadership or a related field. The successful candidate will work as part of a highly dedicated team to produce skilled graduates in the fields of educational leadership/administration, innovation in school leadership, and educational leadership and policy analysis. Candidates are expected to provide evidence of ability and experience in research publications in peer-reviewed journals. The ability to teach graduate courses is a must. Supervision of Masters and/or PhD thesis/dissertation is a plus. Service to schools and the educational community is recommended. Applicants are expected to be fluent in the English language. Minimum Qualification

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in educational leadership or a closely related field. They should have at least 2 years of college-level teaching experience. They should have been published in peer-reviewed journals.

Preferred Qualification

Publications in Scopus-indexed journals. Successful supervision of graduate students' thesis/dissertation or graduation projects.
