Job Details
Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Clinical Placements Manager within UCD School of Veterinary Medicine /Veterinary Hospital.
This role was developed to manage the administration of Clinical Placements (Clinical Extra Mural Studies) within the School and the new CEMS Tutor Programme. The Programme will enhance the review of student's attainment on their CEMS placements. A review of attainment on clinical placements will be conducted twice yearly. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Clinical placements within the school. It encompasses the development of relationships with veterinary practices and other providers; provision a high level of administrative support to the academic coordinator of CEMS and to undergraduate students of veterinary medicine.
Management of all placement matters will fall within the remit of this post including the establishment and maintenance of the in-house MyProgress platform and Infohub reports. The Post holder will work closely with the Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning and all other relevant staff within the School and at University level.
95 Administrative Officer I\2010 Salary Scale: €45,565 - €61,775 per annum.
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
