Job Description

NUS is developing an intelligent frame for the lifting of Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) units. The project is funded by the Cities of Tomorrow R&D Programme. We are looking for a Research Engineer to design, manage and assemble a full-size intelligent lifting frame. The work will technologies for visualization and control of the PPVC unit. The work will involve working on a construction site for a considerable amount of time. The candidate should ideally have a strong background in structural steel design and a working knowledge of PPVC construction.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor degree with work knowledge of the following:
    • Design for manufacturing and assembly (DfMA) process
    • Digital technologies for visualisation and control
    • Structural design and analysis
  • Open to fixed-term contract
