The Cell Death Signaling Laboratory (https://nyuad.nyu.edu/en/research/centers-labs-and-projects/galadari-lab.html) at NYUAD invites applications from individuals to be appointed as a Research Associate. Research at the CDSL focuses on basic and translational aspects of various programmed cell death pathways pertinent to cancer.

The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree with a minimum 4-5 years Post-Doctoral experience in the general areas of Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Medicine, and related field in a reputed institution. The applicant should also have ambient knowledge and experience in working with mammalian cell culture, protein expression, protein purification, immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, immunostaining, and flow cytometry. Experience with a range of relevant biomedical technologies, such as CRISPR, primary cell assays, confocal microscopy, and in vivo oncology model systems is essential. Specifically, the applicant is expected to work independently on the Adenosine Monophosphate Kinase (AMPK) and Cell Death pathways, therefore, working experience with AMPK proteins is highly desirable.  

The terms of employment is for two years (renewable). The employee will be benefited with competitive tax-free salary, housing allowance, health insurance for the employee and their eligible dependents.
