Job Description
- Survey related work on Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, and Ethics (FATE) of AI
- Work with stakeholders to design novel human-AI collaborative systems
- Develop a new approach for FATE of AI
- Evaluate the impacts of new approaches and systems through user/field studies
- Write and present research outputs
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Science/Systems, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or closely related disciplines
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant research experience in machine learning, FATE of AI, or HCI
- Demonstrated ability to drive original research
- Demonstrated experience in machine learning and fairness, accountability, transparency, & ethics of AI
- Proficiency in programming in python and deep learning frameworks
- Experience working with AI systems or their users in interdisciplinary and collaborative environment
- Creative and enthusiastic mindset, proactive communication and collaboration
- Applicants with research publications in AI/HCI areas will be advantageous
- Proficient in English speaking and writing
