Job Description

  • Survey related work on Fairness, Accountability, Transparency, and Ethics (FATE) of AI
  • Work with stakeholders to design novel human-AI collaborative systems
  • Develop a new approach for FATE of AI
  • Evaluate the impacts of new approaches and systems through user/field studies
  • Write and present research outputs

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Science/Systems, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or closely related disciplines
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant research experience in machine learning, FATE of AI, or HCI
  • Demonstrated ability to drive original research
  • Demonstrated experience in machine learning and fairness, accountability, transparency, & ethics of AI
  • Proficiency in programming in python and deep learning frameworks
  • Experience working with AI systems or their users in interdisciplinary and collaborative environment
  • Creative and enthusiastic mindset, proactive communication and collaboration
  • Applicants with research publications in AI/HCI areas will be advantageous
  • Proficient in English speaking and writing
