An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator in the Faculty of Environmental and Life Science. You will provide professional, operational assistance to the Research and Enterprise Support team.

This includes acting as the first point of contact for a range of enquiries, minute taking, organising meetings, and financial administration, liaising with external partners and senior staff and colleagues across the University. 

You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively. You will be well organised and adaptable taking a positive approach to managing a busy and complex workload. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are required as is commitment to providing an excellent service.

You must have previous work experience within an administrative/secretarial role and be able to use your own initiative, independently problem-solve and manage your own time effectively, with minimum supervision. You must provide a high level of confidentiality at all times. You will have strong IT skills for example being a competent user of Microsoft Office and similar software.
