The Role

  • Fixed Term (until February 2025), Full Time
  • Level E - $193,758 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst or Wagga Wagga

We are currently seeking a dedicated academic leader with an outstanding record of research with a strong and shared alignment of producing job ready graduates to work and serve in our regional and rural communities.

The role would suit an individual who is able to demonstrate a strong vision and commitment to promoting excellence in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing with expertise in one or multiple areas including Indigenous health, e-health and/ or innovative models of nursing and health service delivery. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate their high level interpersonal and communication skills, will have a track record of leadership in an Australian University and will be able to demonstrate inclusive practice in the workplace.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is essential for this position.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification appropriate to nursing or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of the discipline gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar
  • An outstanding record of research, nationally and internationally, relevant to the discipline area
  • The ability to provide effective leadership and promote inclusive practices in the workplace
