Working within the award-winning Law School, you will join a team of world-leading and internationally excellent legal scholars.

You will contribute to research informed learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, you will undertake research, enterprise and scholarly activities, and income generation,contributing to the Faculty’s research profile.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to teach effectively on a range of programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning. You will have a PhD and a research record enabling you to make a significant contribution to the Law Schools research agenda. It is also essential that you have had success in applying for external research funding and have appropriate knowledge of future potential funding bodies aligned to your area(s) of research interest. The subjects you will be expected to teach include Equity & Trusts and Wills & Probate

Colleagues appointed into our Lecturer grade are usually early career academics who are supported through their probationary period to develop their Academic profile. Upon completion of probation objectives these colleagues are automatically moved into the Assistant Professor role.  The selection panel will assess your application and discuss with you which role you are being considered for at selection and appointment stages.
