Applications are invited for a full time, permanent post in Southampton Law School at the level of Lecturer (level 5).

As a Law School, we are committed to high quality legal education and scholarship. To that end, we intend to strengthen our research and teaching across a number of areas of the curriculum.  For this post, we would welcome applications from candidates with an interest in Corporate Law.

Successful candidates will have a PhD in Law or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.

Successful candidates will be expected to make an all-round contribution to education and research delivery in the School. You will be expected to have a research profile including published work commensurate with your career stage.  You will be committed to high quality research and to building a vibrant student experience and community. Visible and collegiate, you will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the School’s activities including student recruitment and outreach.

Research in the Law School currently clusters around a number of research centres including those for Property and People, Private and Commercial Law (PCL); Maritime Law (IML); Law; International Law and Globalisation; Global Constitutionalism, Law and Technology and the Stefan Cross Centre for Women, Equality and Law. Colleagues are also involved in individual and collaborative scholarship in numerous other fields, often inter-disciplinary.
