Job Description

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, National University of Singapore, is inviting applications for 2-3 Research Fellow (RF) position under Prof. Sibudjing Kawi’s group. The candidates will work on A*STAR LCER research project entitled ““Methane Pyrolysis for Hydrogen and Carbon Nanotube Production via Novel Catalytic Membrane Reactor System”

Qualifications

  • PhD in chemistry/chemical engineering in the area of catalysts and inorganic membranes (MIEC, Pd-Alloy or Zeolite membranes) and inorganic membrane reactors for high temperature reactions.
  • Proven experience in the field of inorganic membrane synthesis, catalyst synthesis/characterization/testing and reactor design in terms of publications and/or patents. 
  • Able to propose research proposals and co-supervise undergraduates/graduates if required. 
  • Strong team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.
