Applications are invited for a Temporary 3 year post post of a Project Accountant Operations within NovaUCD

The Project Accountant Operations will provide accounting and administrative support in a number of areas within UCD Innovation (NovaUCD, NexusUCD and the AGTech Centre) and support the Bursars Office in preparing UCD Nova DAC accounts. The role requires an individual with all round problem solving skills, who is detail-orientated and can work to tight deadlines.

The role requires a proven ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality and discretion to a very high level. This is very much a hands on operational role which involves invoicing over 60 Nova clients per month on a bespoke accounts and incubator software package, bank reconciliation, collection of fees by Direct Debit and supporting the NovaUCD team on the UCD financial system for procurement and budgeting.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager (or his/here nominee) and liaise closely with Finance Office staff, with colleagues in other units in the University and external stakeholders. As this role involves dealing with NovaUCD clients on a daily basis a caring customer care approach is of paramount importance.
