Description

Assistant Professor Ahmed Almheiri, in the Division of Science (Physics) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and a visitor at New York University New York (NYU NY), seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work in the field of theoretical physics, specifically on topics related to quantum gravity, string theory, and black holes.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics or related field. Applicants should also have a strong track record of original research in the relevant topics.

This is a three-year position starting no later than September 2022. The successful candidate will spend the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years in the New York campus, after which they will spend the final academic year of 2024-2025 in the Abu Dhabi.
