Assistant Professor of Psychology, Antje von Suchodoletz in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Masters-level research assistant to work on the development and piloting of an Abu Dhabi-specific parenting program.

The successful applicant will be a core member of the research team designing and measuring an Abu Dhabi-specific parenting program. The outcomes of this program will be measured on both the parent and child levels and will be supported by a facilitator training and pilot study, led by the Emirates College for Advanced Education. The candidate will work in a diverse environment, working with Research Associates and Post-Doctoral Researchers and PIs at Zayed University and the Emirates College for Advanced Education as well as undergraduate students at NYUAD.

Applicants must have a Masters degree in Psychology, Social Science, Education, Human Development or Statistics. Candidates from other fields will be considered if required skills are demonstrated. The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience working in a comparable role in the UAE and/or the MENA region and be fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English. Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, MPlus), experience with randomized controlled trials, and training in repeated measurement/longitudinal/missing data analyses are a plus.
