Job Description

NUS Mechanical Engineering has a new opening in Research Fellow position with expertise and experience in materials, polymer, chemistry or mechanical engineering. Previous research experience on chemical synthesis or additive manufacturing for ceramic, polymer or composite materials is required. The successful candidate will drive the research direction, conduct experiments, analyse results and publish scientific papers.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering,
  • Experience in additive manufacturing, chemical synthesis, powder processing or freeze casting, etc
  • Experience related to materials development and characterisation for ceramics, polymer or composites
  • Creative and self-motivated team player with a good publication record.
