An opportunity has arisen for a lecturer within the School of Health and Life Sciences, where teaching and research are at the heart of all the school’s activities. Ideally, the successful candidate will be a registered mental health nurse and qualified to, at least, Masters level. The ability to engage in all aspects of programme and module leadership and development is integral to this post, along with engagement in wider academic activities such as consultancy, CPD, and scholarship to enhance teaching or academic knowledge.

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Relevant Masters degree
  • Possess and maintain sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge and experience in the discipline to work within established research/teaching programmes.
  • Knowledge of a variety of strategies to promote and assess learning.
