Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 516207), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree, preferably in Ophthalmology, Clinical Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ solid experience in clinical research. They should have good interpersonal and organizational skills, and proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Additionally, they are expected to have at least one first author paper published in clinical medicine-related discipline. Those with expertise in medical statistics, R&D and validation of novel data processing algorithms, and with experience in developing innovative application of new technology in healthcare are preferred.

The appointee will be involved in research projects on ophthalmic imaging, visual disability assessment, and validation of novel data processing algorithm.  He/She will also provide training to junior researchers, and perform other duties as assigned.
