Applications are invited for appointment as Postdoctoral Fellow in Tissue Engineering/Biomedical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 516299), to commence as soon as possible and no later than January 1, 2023.  The appointment will initially be made on a one-year temporary basis.

Applicants should possess a relevant Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering or any related field.  Academic background such as tissue engineering, biomaterials, microfabrication and micropatterning, mechanoregulation, cell niche engineering and tumoroid models will be advantageous.  They should also have passion in research, good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, and a good command of English.

The appointee will work at the Tissue Engineering Lab and in a multi-disciplinary environment with team members on research projects related to musculoskeletal tissue engineering, advanced therapeutics for cartilage injuries and osteoarthritis, biomimetic and functional biomaterials, in vitro organoid and tumoroid models, or microfabrication and micropatterning.
