To engage actively with the health challenges of the 21st Century, UniSC has formed a School of Health to provide optimal opportunities for seamless cross-disciplinary learning and a firm platform for accelerated growth in research. The School will encompass the following disciplines: Psychology, Biomedical Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine, Public Health and Sport and Exercise Science.

The discipline of Psychology will be encompassed within the newly established School of Health and currently has a range of offerings from Bachelor through to Masters level. The School has already commenced this journey and now needs to embrace the opportunities presented by AI, augmented reality and robotics for integration into learning and teaching to deliver work-ready graduates. With an exciting new phase of development in Health at UniSC there exists a rare opportunity in the discipline of Psychology to be part of the newly established School of Health.  We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic academics to appoint to the following positions within the School:

The Professor of Psychology will bring outstanding leadership contributions to learning, teaching and engagement in Psychology including bringing an established research agenda with a credible national and international research profile to the new School of Health.

The Associate Professor of Psychology compliments the portfolio by having a strong and sustained track record in research, making significant contributions to the teaching effort of the School in addition to developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and connections locally, nationally and internationally.

The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology is a local leader who makes significant contributions to the teaching effort of the school in both teaching practice and leadership in teaching including providing direct supervision to students in clinical psychology.

These roles are pivotal in supporting the School of Health to grow student numbers, particularly in postgraduate studies, increase industry and community linkages, deliver excellence in teaching and strengthen research through increase income and impact to help realise the University’s strategic goals.
