Teaching Associate, School of Pharmacy
The School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Teaching Associate.
The School of Pharmacy is in the global top 100 in the QS World University rankings by subject and welcomes applicants from diverse academic backgrounds.
The successful candidate will provide high quality teaching and assessment in practice/clinical aspects of the undergraduate MPharm programme, and other such duties that fall within the general ambit of the post.
The School will consider applications from Full Time applicants (1 FTE) or Part Time applicants (0.5FTE) for this post. The working pattern may vary and will be discussed with the successful candidate(s)
The successful candidate must have and your CV/Cover letter (or application form) should clearly demonstrate you have:
- Honours degree or equivalent (2:1 or higher) in Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy degree which is registrable with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland or the General Pharmaceutical Council (GB) or equivalent.
- Experience of teaching/supervising/mentoring undergraduate or postgraduate students.
- Experience of administration commensurate with stage in career.
- Experience of working in a patient-facing pharmacy practice role.

This is a fixed term post for 10 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
