Job description
3 positions


We are looking to appoint on our Learning and Teaching or Research pathway for these positions. The successful candidates will play a significant role in supporting and developing the delivery and assessment of new and existing curricula in the subject area. The role holders will develop their own research in line with the School priorities, as well as contributing to existing research and impact activities. The posts will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of our portfolio whilst supporting our ambitious growth plans. As a result of our current and intended expansion, we have the following vacancies, and particularly welcome applications from Early Career Academics:


Strategy (general)
Operations and Supply Chain Management
Strategic Management with focus on Project Management

The role(s)


You will join the Management Subject Group. This ambitious, growing team consists of academics on Learning and Teaching or Research pathways who make significant contributions across all strands of endeavour.


You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of our curriculum going forward and become involved in both module and programme leadership. We have a diverse and vibrant curriculum. It is expected that you will contribute to our international deliveries in, for example Hong Kong and Singapore.


You will be committed to going above and beyond to deliver exceptional teaching and support to our students. You will use your experience to promote integrated professional practice across everything you do, sharing actionable knowledge to students that they will take with them in their future careers as well as with external partners and networks.


You will be responsible for developing, designing and delivering teaching and student-centred learning underpinned by academic scholarship and professional practice, within your assigned areas of responsibility. You will also be required to conduct individual and collaborative research projects, contributing to the research profile within your School.


Who we are looking for
In addition to the role profile, (click here to view) the following criteria are essential:

  • A doctoral level qualification in the relevant discipline
  • Evidence of a developing academic and research profile
  • Sufficient breadth and depth of experience to support and develop high quality teaching/learning and research projects
  • Demonstrable evidence of teaching specialisation/experience aligned to strategy area
  • Commitment to supporting international and online delivery.

Benefits we offer


Salary: £42,155 – 51,805 per annum (Grade 6).
