Job Description
- Study existing quality assurance metrics and analysis techniques for AI systems, especially for commonly used deep neural networks
- Study common practices used in high-quality AI systems' development and deployment
- Propose new quality evaluation framework and metrics that improve existing ones and can be used as criteria for certifying AI systems
- Develop tools for automating AI quality evaluation and analysis
- Document all the studies, including implementation code and evaluation results, for public release
- Write and publish research papers and present them in reputable academic conferences
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor degree with first or second upper class degree classification (or their equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or alike
- Proficient in at least one of the programming languages Python, Java, C/C++
- Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures
- Knowledgeable about AI, deep learning, data mining, and/or program analysis techniques
- Knowledgeable about software development methodologies and project management practices
- Capable of literature search and identifying relevant resources and tools
- Good analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
- Able to work under strict deadlines
- Prior research experience with tangible deliverables (e.g., tools or papers published at relevant and reputable venues) are advantageous
