Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Fellow in the Department of Clinical Imaging Research Centre (CIRC) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. CIRC is a dedicated molecular imaging research centre. It is equipped with on-site capability for the preparation of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a state-of-the-art GMP-certified facility. CIRC is positioned to support both academic and commercially led clinical research programs, with dedicated clinical imaging facilities area advanced modalities of PET-CT and PET-MRI. Purpose of the post

The Research Fellow will be an essential staff leading the data analysis of imaging studies, and will be supporting the ongoing methodological research.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Fellow is expected to:

  • Set up imaging and analysis protocols of PET, CT and MR data
  • Develop novel image analysis techniques and protocols to improve image analysis in CIRC
  • Oversee Project progression for projects with collaborators
  • Work on manuscripts of research findings and methodological results
  • Present data at international conferences
  • Apply or start up new projects
  • Mentor and train research assistants or interns on image analysis
  • Able to organise and lead CIRC Monthly Research Meetings

Qualifications

The applicant should:

  1. Have a PhD degree and generally 2 or more years’ postdoctoral research experience
  2. Has experience in setting up imaging and analysis protocols of PET, CT and MR data
  3.  Have a keen interest in developing new analysis methods using various kinds of PET and MRI (ASL, fMRI) data
  4. Has worked on a few publications, and applied independently for grants
  5. Be willing to train junior staff and interns

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
