Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We have one full time (permanent) vacancy and one full time (fixed term for one year) vacancy, although other flexible working arrangements can be considered.

Oxford Brookes is a leading modern institution with big ambitions. We are seeking to broaden access to an Oxford Brookes education, increase our global footprint, and further enhance our reputation as a leading global University.

The Admissions Office is at the heart of these ambitions, playing a key role in the achievement of the University’s objectives through the delivery of a fair, efficient and transparent admissions process that enables equitable access for those students with the potential to succeed at Oxford Brookes.

We have recently expanded our Admissions team to support us in delivering an exceptional applicant experience across our UG and PGT portfolio.

The new roles of Senior Admissions Officer (UK) will lead a team responsible for the processing of applications and will work to ensure that applications from designated markets, specifically from under-represent groups, are processed in line with institutional policy and sector best practice, as well as ensuring that appropriate compliance processes are in place. The post holder will provide expert advice on qualifications and market context, and act as the primary contact for the our UK partners and UK Recruitment, UK Partnerships & Apprenticeships and Access & Outreach teams.

You’ll have experience of the UK higher education admissions process and a good knowledge and understanding of the international applicant journey. The ability to lead a team to deliver against performance requirements is essential.

The Admissions team is currently working in an agile, hybrid model combining working remotely and at our Headington campus. We are open to discussing hybrid working arrangements with candidates.

For an informal conversation about this role, please contact Robert Hodgson, Head of Admissions (rhodgson@brookes.ac.uk).
