About You

You will be responsible for leading strategy and key initiatives in a broad range of educational technology and digital experiences to drive and facilitate high-quality online and blended experiences for students at RMIT University. This position provides high level strategic advice relating to best practice in digital education and student experience, which directs, crafts and delivers integrative and contemporary approaches to the design, development and delivery of innovative digital experiences and educational ecosystems.

To be successful in this position, you'll have experience in:

  • Leadership of digital education, learning technology ecosystems, digital experience and the digital student experience practice supported by principles of human-centred design.
  • Innovative digital education delivery practices that transform the student experience.
  • Developing and operationalising for strategic growth
  • Evidence-based quality frameworks and standards, and the ability to consult stakeholders on their design, implementation and management as a process of user experience.
  • The management and application of digital practice in various learning environments
  • Leading and directing an outcomes-based and multidisciplinary team effectively using agile approaches.

About the Group

The Education Technologies team is focused on the Education Technologies and User Experience of our Learning Environments (and broader educational environment) at scale. Sitting within the Centre for Educational Innovation and Development (CEID), the team enables and supports other University-wide education initiatives to facilitate transformative Student and Educator experiences, in addition to driving EdTech innovation and sustainability.
