Description

• To provide high quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University.
• Ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication.
• To support the YahSat Lab day to day activities and the CubeSat projects
• Hardware and equipment operations and maintenance (Thermal Vacuum Chamber, Shaker, 3D Printer, Laminar Flow Clean Benches, Ground Station Rotators and Antenna System, ...)
• Supervise students’ activities in the lab and provide training on using the lab equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and consumables
• General lab safety

Qualifications

• BSc in Mechanical, Aerospace, or relevant degree with min. (2+) years of Research Assistant experience in space technology.
• MSc in Mechanical, Aerospace, or relevant degree with space research experience.
