Job Description

This is a postdoc level position. The main task is to conduct R&D work to develop a sustainable cementitious material using several waste materials in Singapore. The selected candidate is required to conduct laboratory experiments, field tests and prepare technical reports. He/she will gain extensive experience of independent research in this field.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a PhD degree in civil and environmental engineering or material science disciplines
  • The candidate should have solid academic and research background in the field of cement and concrete, especially with XRD (qualitative and quantitative analysis), SEM, TGA, calorimetry and
  •      compressive/bending strength test.
  • Good technical proposal writing and presentation skills
  • Good written and spoken communications.
  • Able to plan and organize well and adhere to the deadline
  • He/She needs to value teamwork.
  • Open to fixed-term contract
