Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end programming languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Qualification

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build scalable and resilient web application with an emphasis on performance and scale in the Cloud
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning data models powering applications
• Write effective Restful APIs
• Perform test driven development (TDD)
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Follow security best practices in web application development
• Write detailed technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience

• Experience developing with React, Vue, or other similar modern frontend JavaScript frameworks
• A good understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proficiency with Python in backend development. Bonus points for experience working with Python based web application development frameworks like Django, Flask, etc.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL, etc.) and ability to write and execute SQL queries
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• An analytical mind
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant field
