Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 516131), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal and subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (“STEM”)-related disciplines, preferably with research experience in stem cell biology, bioinformatics, or CRISPR-based genomic editing. They should be highly motivated with the ability to work independently. Fresh Ph.D. graduates are welcome to apply.
The appointee will work on the collaborative studies between the Department of Medicine and the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Health, Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He/She will design and conduct R&D projects on regenerative medicine; provide training to junior researchers; and perform other duties as assigned.
