Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 515691), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with a strong research background in epidemiology, health economics, pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, public health, big data analytics or artificial intelligence analytics.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English, strong communication skills, a demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers, self-motivation with a hardworking attitude, and the ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team.  Woking experience in electronic medical records, data mining and management, dynamic disease modelling and decision-analytics, and data visualization using R, SAS, Stata, or Python are preferred. 

The appointee will conduct research on big-data and simulation modelling under the supervision of Dr. Shirley Li.  He/She will contribute to collaborative and impact research on the evaluation of effectiveness, safety and cost-effectiveness of novel medications such as biologics, precision medication and vaccines, using population-based real-world data and disease simulation modelling.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Li at
